A reflection of some of the projects, clients and clinical specialities that Clarify Clinical has had the pleasure to engage with during the last 12 months:
In 2024, Clarify Clinical facilitated 24 clients in meeting their compliance requirements. Ten of these were start-ups, the remainder legacy systems needing to uplift their clinical documentation or clients with existing Health IT systems but new to the UK NHS market.
In 2024, Clarify Clinical created Clinical Risk Management Systems, produced Clinical Risk Management Plans, Hazard Logs & Clinical Safety Case Reports for 18 clients, including supporting four clients with NHS Login, IM1 integration and Patient Demographic Service integrations.
In 2024, Clarify Clinical authored 6 Clinical Evaluation Plans, Literature Reviews and Clinical Evaluation Reports.
In 2024, Clarify Clinical supported one client through a tough MHRA query regarding their medical device classification and subsequent Class I compliance including technical file and clinical evaluation.
In 2024, Clarify Clinical supported one client with end-to-end DCB0129 and Class I UK MDR compliance for four products.
During 2024, Clarify Clinical has worked to support the following clinical areas:
· urgent care triage
· blood pressure stations for early identification of hypertension
· bowel cancer screening
· health app libraries
· liver cirrhosis and alcoholic liver disease management
· risk of deterioration in health in vulnerable individuals
· pre-surgical risk assessment
· fall risk prediction
· smoking cessation
· weight loss
· genetic profiling
· automated surgical consultation transcription
· medical imaging
· care home administration systems
· hospital patient administration systems
· pathology patient administration systems
· community care patient administration systems
· dental patient administration systems
· middleware for point of care testing
· cardiology patient management and referrals
· colposcopy clinical patient management software
· online prescription ordering and dispensing
During 2024, Clarify Clinical has supported these organisations to comply with the following standards and legislation:
NHS DTAC, DCB 0129, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, UK MDR 2002, EU MDR 2017/745.
Clarify Clinical doesn’t have the means to translate these statistics into quantifiable direct patient benefits, but by continuing to embed clinical safety culture into health technology, the patient, the health IT manufacturers and the NHS all stand to gain.
Here's to 2025!
